Daniel Clowes is an American cartoonist and screenwriter best known for Ghost World and numerous works published in his anthology Eightball. He won the Eisner Award for Best Graphic Album – New in 2011 for Wilson (Drawn & Quarterly). His work is known for its dark humour and trenchant social observation.
