About This Book
In the small town of Money, Mississippi—infamous as the site of Emmett Till's murder in 1955—two detectives investigate a series of murders in which, alongside each body, is found the decomposing corpse of Emmett Till himself. A wild, propulsive, satirical thriller that confronts the enduring reality of American racism with dark comedy and moral fury.
