About the Author

Rose Tremain was born on 2 August 1943 in London, England. She attended Francis Holland School and studied literature at the Sorbonne in Paris before reading English at the University of East Anglia. She has taught creative writing at UEA and was Chancellor of the University of East Anglia from 2013 to 2023. Read more →
