About This Book
Set in a crumbling apartment complex in the fictional Rust Belt city of Vacca Vale, Indiana, the novel follows four young people who recently aged out of the foster care system, living in the same building alongside an eccentric array of neighbours. On one particular night in July, their stories violently converge, and a young woman named Blandine Watkins undergoes a shattering mystical experience.
