The Boy Lost in the Maze

Joseph Coelho is a British children's author and poet, and the UK's Children's Laureate (2022–2024). He won the Carnegie Medal for The Boy Lost in the Maze (2024), a verse novel retelling the myth of the Minotaur. He is known for poetry that addresses grief, identity, and family, and regularly visits schools to promote reading.
