About This Book
Sofia and her ailing mother Rose travel from London to a clinic in southern Spain where a mysterious doctor treats ailments of psychosomatic origin. As Rose's symptoms inexplicably worsen and improve, Sofia falls into a complex affair with a Spanish woman, and must decide whether to care for her mother or seek her own freedom.
