About the Author
Sophie Blackall is an Australian-American illustrator born in Australia in 1970. She won the Caldecott Medal twice—for *Finding Winnie: The True Story of the World's Most Famous Bear* (2016) and *Hello Lighthouse* (2019). She is also celebrated for her illustrations of Ivy and Bean series and numerous other children's books.
