About This Book
In Claysville, someone must tend the graves of the dead—or the dead will not stay buried. Rebekkah Barrow has always avoided her hometown, but when her grandmother, the town's Graveminder, dies unexpectedly, Rebekkah must take up the mantle. Soon she discovers that the strange bargain her ancestors made long ago is very real: a dark figure known as Mr. D must be appeased, and the dead of Claysville must be kept from walking. A supernatural debut novel for adults from a bestselling young adult fantasy author.
