About the Author

David Mazzucchelli is an American cartoonist known for his influential work on Batman: Year One with Frank Miller and for his groundbreaking graphic novel Asterios Polyp (2009), which won the Eisner Award for Best Graphic Album – New in 2010. He studied at Rhode Island School of Design.
