About This Book

Four college students followed a charismatic guru into a field in 1966—and only three came back, each changed in unknowable ways. Decades later, one of their husbands tries to reconstruct what happened. Peter Straub's Bram Stoker Award winner is a labyrinthine, literary horror novel.
