Tae Keller

Tae Keller is a Korean-American children's author born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1991. She won the 2021 Newbery Medal for *When You Trap a Tiger*, a magical realist novel inspired by Korean mythology about a girl and her grandmother. She is also the author of *The Science of Breakable Things*.
