About Sheri Holman
Sheri Holman is an American author of literary historical fiction. She won the Shirley Jackson Award for Novel for Witches on the Road Tonight (2011), a multi-generational novel interweaving a horror film host's career in the 1950s with family secrets. She is also the author of The Dress Lodger, a Victorian Gothic novel that was a critically acclaimed bestseller. Holman studied at the College of William & Mary and the University of Virginia. The Dress Lodger, set during a cholera epidemic in 1830s England, was her breakthrough novel. Witches on the Road Tonight was her third novel and won both the Shirley Jackson Award and the Shirley Jackson Award for Single-Author Collection. She lives and works in New York.
