Sanam Mahloudji

Sanam Mahloudji is an Iranian-American writer. The Persians (2025) is her debut novel, a multigenerational saga following an Iranian family from before the Islamic Revolution to the present, across Tehran and New York. The novel was longlisted for the Women's Prize for Fiction 2025. Mahloudji was born in the United States to Iranian parents and her writing explores Persian identity, displacement, and family memory.
