Rebecca Roanhorse

Rebecca Roanhorse is an American fantasy and science fiction author of Ohkay Owingeh and Black heritage. Her debut novel *Trail of Lightning* was nominated for the 2019 Hugo Award and she won Hugo Awards for her short fiction. Her novel *Black Sun*, nominated for the 2021 Hugo, is the first book of the *Between Earth and Sky* trilogy inspired by pre-Columbian Indigenous cultures.
