Miriam Toews

Miriam Toews is a Canadian author from a Mennonite background. Her novel A Complicated Kindness won the Governor General's Award. She has been shortlisted for the Giller Prize multiple times and her novel Women Talking was adapted into an Academy Award-winning film.
