About Michael Robotham
Michael Robotham is an Australian crime writer who has won the CWA Gold Dagger twice—for Life or Death (2015) and Good Girl, Bad Girl (2020)—making him one of the most decorated authors in the award's recent history. He is known for his psychological suspense novels and his series featuring clinical psychologist Joe O'Loughlin and detective Vincent Ruiz. Born in Australia, Robotham worked for many years as a ghostwriter for celebrities and biographers before turning to crime fiction. His debut The Suspect (2004) introduced Joe O'Loughlin and was an instant international bestseller. He has published more than twenty novels, many of which have been bestsellers in multiple countries. Life or Death is a standalone thriller about a man who escapes from prison the day before his scheduled release, while Good Girl, Bad Girl launched a new series featuring detective Cyrus Haven and survivor Evie Cormac. Robotham divides his time between Australia and the UK.
