Laura Amy Schlitz

Laura Amy Schlitz is an American children's author and playwright who won the 2008 Newbery Medal for *Good Masters! Sweet Ladies! Voices from a Medieval Village*, a collection of monologues from the perspective of children living in a 13th-century English manor. She is a librarian and teacher at the Park School of Baltimore.
