About Jessie Greengrass

Jessie Greengrass is a British writer born in 1982. Her short story collection An Account of the Decline of the Great Auk, According to One Who Saw It (2015) won the Edge Hill Short Story Prize and the Somerset Maugham Award. Her debut novel Sight (2018) was longlisted for the Women's Prize for Fiction and the Wellcome Book Prize. Her second novel The High House (2021) was shortlisted for the Costa Novel Award and the Ondaatje Prize.
