Jenny Offill

Jenny Offill is an American novelist born in 1968. Her debut novel Last Things (1999) was chosen as a New York Times Notable Book. Dept. of Speculation (2014) was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. Weather (2020) was a finalist for the National Book Award for Fiction and the Kirkus Prize. Offill teaches in the MFA programmes at Columbia University and Queens University of Charlotte. Her novels are known for their fragmented, aphoristic style.
