Jasmine Warga

Jasmine Warga is an Arab-American children's author born in Cincinnati. She received a 2020 Newbery Honor for *Other Words for Home*, a verse novel about a Syrian girl who emigrates to the United States with her mother. She is also the author of *My Heart and Other Black Holes* and *A Strange Bird*.
