Chris Raschka is an American author and illustrator of children's books born in Huntington, Pennsylvania in 1959. He won the Caldecott Medal twice—for *The Hello, Goodbye Window* (2006) and *A Ball for Daisy* (2012). He is also a Caldecott Honor winner for *Yo! Yes?* and *Mysterious Thelonious*.
