Chris Holm

Chris Holm is an American crime fiction author known for the Collector series, featuring an assassin who hunts rogue supernatural targets, and the Michael Hendricks series, featuring a hitman who kills contract killers. He won the Anthony Award for Best Novel for The Killing Kind (2016), the first Michael Hendricks novel. Holm grew up in Maine and studied criminology. The Killing Kind was praised for its fast-paced action, moral complexity, and its reinvention of the classic thriller formula. He has also published short fiction, including the acclaimed story 'The Toll' set in the Collector universe. He lives in Portland, Maine.
