Charlotte Wood

Charlotte Wood is an Australian novelist born in New South Wales in 1965. She has published seven novels. The Natural Way of Things (2015) won the Stella Prize and the Prime Minister's Literary Award. Stone Yard Devotional (2023) was shortlisted for the 2024 Booker Prize and won the Miles Franklin Literary Award. Wood's fiction explores women's lives, ethics, and the natural world.
