About Catriona Ward
Catriona Ward is a British-Canadian author of psychological horror and gothic fiction. She won the Shirley Jackson Award for Novel for Little Eve (2018) and the British Fantasy Award for Best Horror Novel for Rawblood (2016) and The Last House on Needless Street (2022). She is one of the most acclaimed horror novelists working in the English language. Ward grew up in various countries and studied English Literature at Oxford. Her debut Rawblood was a Victorian gothic set in a cursed house on Dartmoor. Little Eve is set on a Scottish island in the 1960s where a cult awaits the apocalypse. The Last House on Needless Street, her American debut, was a bestseller and swept the horror fiction awards. She has also written Sundial. Ward divides her time between the UK and the United States.
