Bryan Collier

Bryan Collier is an American illustrator born in Pocomoke City, Maryland in 1967. He has won four Caldecott Honor awards, including for *Rosa* (2006), *Trombone Shorty* (2016), *Dave the Potter* (2011), and *Freedom in Congo Square* (2017). He is also a four-time winner of the Coretta Scott King Illustrator Award. His mixed media technique combines watercolour and collage.
