Aube Rey Lescure

Aube Rey Lescure is a French-American writer raised in Shanghai and educated at Yale University. Her debut novel River East, River West (2024) was longlisted for the Women's Prize for Fiction 2025. The novel explores the lives of expats and immigrants in Shanghai across two decades. Lescure writes about themes of belonging, cultural identity, and displacement.
